Significant enhancements to BIA-Pro are now available
in Version 8.0 of BCM software entitled the Disaster Recovery System (DRS™).
DRS Version 8.0 provides functionality for a user-defined "BIA to BCP Workflow."
Upon BIA completion, the BCP is ready to be published with just a few clicks. DRS
provides functionality to map each operation/process to their interdependencies,
applications/systems, ancillary resources and other criteria such as the MAD, RTO
and RPO. It also provides the ability to quantify and qualify criteria for the business
impacts of disaster incidents over timeframes the business impacts of disaster incidents.
The BIA-Pro functionality within DRS empowers users to collect, manage and report
on BIA data that exceeds the most stringent planning requirements published today.
